A Twist In Your Story

It’s time for change.

We all have this voice in our head that says “what about me?” or “why this person and not me?”

I find that feeling that eats us on the inside unnatural. I am trying to think where along the way someone told us this lie that there is not enough success, love or happiness for everyone. I know that everybody feels like that once in a while but that is not a valid excuse. Many people do a lot of unhealthy or dangerous things (e.g. smoking, eating junk food, texting while driving), but it doesn’t make it right.

I say, be mature about your position in life and start focusing on what you have and can do. Some people lost their loved ones in a car accident and others are bound to sit on a wheelchair for the rest of their lives, so what are we moaning about?

YOU ARE EXACTLY WHERE YOU SHOULD BE.

Start being the right student and learn from the lessons around you.

Lessons in life will be repeated until they are learned.

Do you know what’s holding you back?

Well, that’s easy – fear. Like everyone else.

Danger is real, fear is a choice.

Why do we keep choosing fear? I know I don’t have it all figured out yet; I don’t think we will ever get it all figured out. I do think that we can be better every day. We can look inside and look for the thing that we keep going back to instead of marching forward.

The truth is life is not waiting for anyone.  You may invest the time to figure it out or you may not, the time will go by anyway.

Stop looking at others, you are wasting your time.

This post may not be as positive as my other posts, but this one is straightforward. We have to grow up and stop being afraid.

Fear is the greatest lie of all. It is so easy to be stuck in a rut of a dead-end job and a failing relationship. It is soooo easy to be addicted to video games (been there), TV or alcohol instead of dealing with your inside.

The problem was never someone else’s success or happiness. It is us being tired of trying to fight our demons and just wishing for them to go.  Reality is that unless you go out there and start kicking some ass, they will stay and may even grow.

I am writing these words because I am in the midst of the exact battle. I used to be afraid of approaching girls, but now that I found the love of my life, I have new demons regarding my goals in life.

A wise young man once said “YOU ARE EXACTLY WHERE YOU SHOULD BE” and I know it, it’s just that sometimes I wish I was stronger without the lessons. Who doesn’t, right?

I guess you and I will have to stick around to see what’s next…

Love you all.

Gal.

    1. Thank you Johanna! I truly believe that some lessons has to be repeated because we are not ready to move on to a greater version of us. As long as we keep moving forward, we will be ok.😃

  1. “Be mature in your position in life”- I like this one. ☺ Not all people have the “mature” perspective- they blame others and circumstances for the bad things and want all credits for the good things that happen! In reality, we can learn from every experience that we encounter, even from the bad ones because we are not who we are if we didn’t go through them…and you are right, we should have the courage to overcome our fears because we’ll never know our true potentials if we keep letting our fears hold us up.
On a side note, glad to know you have found the loe of your life! 😊

I think videos will add some color and another dimension to my work. The past few days I am writing so much, like I am over flowing. I can’t wait to record them and put it out there for others so enjoy. 😀
